  2. Review Selection Criteria and Your Program’s Requirements
    While the CSU sets minimum requirements for admission to graduate programs, each individual degree program will also have specific requirements for admission.
  3. Gather Application Materials
    In order to complete your application, make sure you have a copy of your transcripts, test scores, household annual income, and social security number (if available). If required for your program, you may also need to upload copies of your unofficial transcript(s), CV/resume, personal statements, names of recommenders, etc. Please contact the Graduate Coordinator for your program for details regarding letters of recommendation.
  4. Review Deadlines
    The application deadline will depend on your program. Some programs only allow applications for the fall quarter, while others accept applications for the winter or spring quarters.

  6. Send Your Transcripts and Test Scores
    When submitting your application for admission, you are encouraged to attach unofficial transcripts to your application from all degree-granting institutions at which you have been enrolled. 
    Official transcripts from all degree granting institutions must be submitted by the application deadline, even if you have attached unofficial transcripts to your application. If your program requires test scores, those must also be sent by the application deadline.
